Coffee Story: Farmer Marysabel Caballero and her husband Moises Herrera are royalty of the Honduran coffee industry. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, the El Puente farm claim first place in the Honduras COE in 2016. Caballero and Herrera are an outstanding husband-wife team that combines kindness, passion for excellence and service to captivate the world of specialty coffee.
Moises manages the family’s farms and wet mill. When he renovated the wet mill in 2013, Moises enclosed the ceramic tiled fermentation tanks to stabilize ambient temperatures, and rearranged the depulping setup for a more efficient gravity flow which conserves water.
Marysabel and Moises stand out as top producers with a genuine focus on putting resources back into the local community.
