Coffee Story: This coffee is 100% Red Bourbon variety which was processed at Ubumwe washing station. Ubumwe receives cherries from local farmers in the surrounding villages 20 minutes away from the capital city, Kigali. The region has very rich soil, with high levels of phosphorus, potassium, zinc and boron. They are key in promoting cherry ripeness.

The washing station is owned by Buf Coffee. It is managed by Edoine Mugisha. The company just recently built dry mill and lab facility allow them to control the milling and preparation process, which include micro-lots separation and experimentation.
