Coffee Story: Gitwe Farmers Cooperative Society has around 650 members who deliver cherry to Karinga Factory. The cooperative has a field committee that assists members by sourcing seeds and seedlings, as well as advising on proper intercropping methods.

Farmers bring their cherry to the factory for sorting and processing as soon as it is picked. The coffee is depulped, then fermented for 12–24 hours before being washed four times and spread on raised beds for 8–13 days.

Sugary sweetness and mouthfeel with lots of tart acidity, rich browned sugar with ripe cherry and citrus fruits.
