Coffee Story: Chania is a coffee growing Estate near Thika whose ownership stretches back three generations. Chania has 70 hectares of coffee, and includes some classic Kenya varieties; French Mission, SL14, SL28 an SL34 in addition to newer types such as Ruiru 11 and Batian. This AB lot contains a mixture of them all. The altitude at Thika is lower than those around Mt Kenya, resulting in a coffee with a gentle clean acidity, and rich sweet tart flavours.
