Coffee Story: Tristan River, sole survivor of the chaff fire of 73’ now working for Impossible Coffee Roasters (ICF) an undercover branch of Commonfolk Coffee Company. A new coffee has arrived at the roastery and River’s mission, should he choose to accept it, is to crack the code and unlock its tasty potential. We know very little about this coffee* other than it originates from the mountains of El Impossible, in the Ahuachapan region of El Salvador. These treacherous peaks have claimed many lives, but against the odds 7 small-scale producers have decided to set up shop 1600masl and risk it all for in pursuit of an impossibly delicious coffee. El Impossible is fully washed and sun-dried on raised beds, before making its way to port on the back of mules, and getting shipped off to the land of Oz. Can River unlock this coffee’s hidden deliciousness? Let’s find out. #impossiblecoffeeroasters
