Description: This is the fourth year Clark St have been working with Nicaraguan producer Mario Ortez. In 2015 Mario began focusing on specialty grade coffee production. Part of this journey was training his 40 seasonal workers to focus on only picking ripe cherries. As small as this sounds it has had a dramatic effect on coffee quality which has opened up new markets and relationships like Clark St’s.
