Description: Kayon Mountain is owned by several families – all with years of coffee experience. The shade plants protect the coffee from the sun, allowing the cherries to ripen for an extended period of time, which means more – and richer – flavours. The natural process creates notes of berries and milk chocolate, along with some extra creamy sweetness.

 

Kayon Mountain is located in the forest in Sidamo, a famous Ethiopian coffee region. The farm is owned by several families – all with years of experience in the coffee industry. Coffee is grown on one half of the land; the other half is used to cultivate cabbage and shade plants. The shade plants protect the coffee from the sun, allowing the cherries to ripen for an extended period of time. This means more – and richer – flavours. The naturally processed Kayon Mountain brings notes of berries and milk chocolate, along with some extra creamy sweetness.
