Josie Coffee is a specialty coffee roastery and coffee bar located in Newcastle, NSW. They pride themselves on sourcing incredible coffees from around the world and roasting them in a way to enhance sweet and clean flavours. Josie Coffee comprises of a small team of dedicated staff, headed up by owner, Chris.

The name Josie Coffee derives from Josephine Edden, who was Chris’s cousin, who was unexpectedly taken from us at the young age of 23, in a tragic accident, in the Melbourne CBD, February 2015. The business was named as a legacy to Josie’s passion for coffee and to ensure she continues to leave a lasting footprint on the coffee industry.

Josie do their best to source a range of interesting and unique coffees that represent the best in origin characteristics and experimental processing. They love to showcase coffees that can be out of the box for flavour and have complex flavours in the cup.
