Vacation began as a coffee roastery as collaboration between brothers Matt and Kael Sahely, and Jimmy Tjoeng. Initially providing a high quality and personalised coffee supply by servicing several cafes, their venture soon evolved into an espresso bar on the corner of Exhibition and Flinders Streets.

Joined by roaster and head barista Fran Lee, Vacation sources a range of delicious and exciting coffees from around the world in order to provide something for everyone. They believe that coffee quality doesn’t have to come at the expense of approachability and service.

The name Vacation reflects with their values of serving coffee in a fun and lighthearted atmosphere. The name strongly suits their bright and airy cafe space, as well as relaxed, tropical iconography.
