Description: The La Roca farm is owned by the Umana family and is planted with Catuai and Caturra varietals. Its relatively high elevation (1800 masl) provides an ideal climate in which to grow these coffee plants and develop their unique characteristics to their full potential. The farm is a true family operation with the three children all assisting with the management and the coffee production process. Just recently a new micro wet mill was constructed at the farm allowing the family to depulp and ferment their cherries on site.
